Marin Sailing Contest 2012
Team 10 of Delft University of Technology, with the boat Team X, designed and built the fastest radio controlled model sailing boat of the Netherlands. On January 20th, the team won the design and sailing contest out of 15 competing teams from Delft University of Technology and Inholland University of Applied Sciences. The contest finished with a race in the Shallow Water Basin at MARIN in Wageningen.

SWZ Maritime's November issue reported our visit to the 7th conference of European Maritime Heritage (EMH). Theme of the conference was interesting young people in maritime heritage. An example of a successful project was creating a replica of the Shtandart. Watch some videos of this sailing ship below.
