Jumbo Shipping has successfully transported 51 monopiles from EEW's manufacturing plant in Rostock, Germany, to Barrow-in-Furness in the UK. The monopiles’ final destination was DONG Energy's Walney Offshore Windfarm 2.

Technip USA and its contractor Jumbo Offshore have completed the installation of 5 Free Standing Hybrid Risers (FSHR’s) for the Petrobras America Inc. Cascade & Chinook ultra-deepwater project in the Gulf of Mexico. The 5 FSHR’s are the deepest risers of this type installed in the world to date. At the moment, the Oleg Strashnov is the largest mono-hull crane vessel and the largest ship ever to be built by IHC Merwede Offshore and Marine. That is why SWZ Maritime’s May edition and offshore special dedicated an article to this special ship. SWZonline offers you some extra material.
